My association with movies started at a young age with Doordarshan and then the satellite cable. Over time I began watching movies in the theatres and I loved the idea of being the first one among my friends to watch a movie, as it made me feel special.
At first I used to read reviews about movies before watching a movie. But this only made my expectations higher or dashed my expectations about the movies that I was going to watch. In some way after reading the reviews, the good movies either didn't meet my expectations and the bad movies were found to be not so bad. So I altogether stopped reading the reviews before the movie, but started reading reviews for some movies after I watched the movie. I found that most of the opinion that I had about a movie was also expressed by the reviews. This gave me the idea of starting to write my own reviews.
After dabbling with trying to write reviews in various websites, I decided to start my own blog about reviewing movies, which may benefit some movie goer. So here is the blog where I review movies that I watch in the theatres.
Through this blog I am also trying to present my thought about movies by writing short articles on various topics. I am no writer, but still think that I have the knowledge with which I can write about movies.
